Wok Wiz Classic Tour
DESCRIPTION
The Wok Wiz Classic Tour is offered on several times per week and is available as a walk only experience, or ending with a dim sum tasting luncheon. Hear fascinating stories about the first Chinese immigrants to arrive in San Francisco during the Gold Rush.
Each of the Wok Wiz tour leaders speak Cantonese as well as fluent English, making it a richer experience as you may visit a local herbalist, the fortune cookie factory, tea purveyor, Chinese temple, and our own “farmers market” — produce markets. Learn about the beautiful and ornate architecture in this area, and the best places to shop for souvenirs, jewelry, and linens.
Complete the Chinatown stroll with a delicious dim sum luncheon at one of our restaurant partners in Chinatown. The Wok Wiz tour leaders stay to host lunch, to answer any questions.
PRICING
- $55 per person includes a hosted multi-course dim sum lunch;
- $35 per person, WALK ONLY;
- Children under 11 years: $40 for walk with lunch;
- $25 per child under 11, WALK ONLY.
WHERE TO MEET
We gather at the upper level of Portsmouth Square Park. Not far from the pedestrian bridge and parking garage elevators, you will see a small patch of grass and a white flagpole. This is the spot! Please plan to be on time as the tour starts promptly at 10:00 a.m.
