Chef, author, and culinary humorist, Shirley Fong-Torres will be at Bloomingdale’s Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto on October 23 signing copies of her just released book called “The Woman Who Ate Chinatown: A San Francisco Odyssey.” This is part of Bloomingdale’s The Shopping Benefit which celebrates local charities with a day of shopping, entertainment, prizes, and celebrities.
Shirley will be selling and signing personalized copies of her book that will support the Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. one of the nation’s leading organizations in the provision of services designed to support the welfare of senior members of our community.
